• What have you found challenging about math this year?
  • Many things have been challenging this year. I am proud of that though because last year it wasn’t challenging. The most challenging was the open responses. That was very challenging because it brought all of what you learned in one problem plus many more.
  • What have you done to overcome these challenges?
  • I have been taking them more slowly and thinking before I work. I am doing pretty well I think and I can keep it up. I think back to what we have learned. Also I have studied more. That really helped me.
  • What are you most proud of in math this year? Explain why
  • I am proud of learning division of fractions. I’m proud of learning exponential notation. But I am most proud of being able to learn so much so quickly. I learn for 40 minutes and it is stuck with me. I am so proud I can do that. I am allowed to do that without being bored almost every math class because I got into 5/6 math. I am proud.
  • What is your personal goal in math for the rest of the school year? Why?
  • Ultimately my goal is to be the best math student I can be. I need to improve my test scores to achieve this. So technically my goal is to improve my math test scores. If I do that then I will probably be better at math. What is bringing it down is mostly the units. I am forgetting the units. So that is my goal. Now time for me to have fun and you to do math.
  • What math activity would you like your parents to try and why?
  • Division of fractions time test is what you will do. (I said that Yoda style.)
